We don't perform roofing work, write bids, set prices, sign contracts with homeowners or take part in insurance claims. Any roofer you hear from runs its own business, and we don't employ, direct or supervise it.

Your dealings with a roofer. Any estimate, contract, payment, warranty or schedule is strictly between you and the roofer. You are free to say no, to get other estimates, or to hire no one at all. Before you sign, check the roofer's City of Buffalo contractor license, or its town registration in Amherst or the Town of Tonawanda, and read the contract with care.

Information on the site. Our articles, cost ranges, quiz and calculator are general information. They may be incomplete or out of date, and they are no substitute for advice from a professional who has seen your home. Laws, permit rules and prices change.

Your conduct. Please give accurate details when you send a request, and don't use the site to send spam, harmful code or someone else's information without permission.

Limits on our responsibility. The site is offered as is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for the work, products, advice or conduct of any roofer, or for losses that come from relying on the site's content.

Links. Pages we link to, such as government offices, are run by others, and we don't control what they publish.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
